Please join Lambda Alpha International’s Baltimore Chapter for our August Virtual Presentation on Wednesday, August 19th from 12-1pm: “MD-PACE – Property Assessed Clean Energy Financing for Commercial Properties in Maryland.” The presentation will feature Jessa Coleman, Senior Manager of Programs, PACE Financial Servicing and Michael Billingsley, Mid-Atlantic Director of Business Development, Greenworks Lending.

The MD-PACE Program offers access to commercial property assessed clean energy (“C-PACE”) financing, a rapidly growing form of long-term lending in Maryland. In this innovative system, private capital providers supply commercial property owners with 100% of the hard and soft costs associated with making energy efficiency or renewable energy improvements to their properties. These improvements allow the property owner to save money on utility bills and increase property value. The MD-PACE program applies both to retrofitting existing buildings and to bringing new buildings to higher energy standards. It has catalyzed more than $20 million of private investment in Maryland’s building stock, creating construction and clean energy jobs and improving the built environment. In this webinar, the manager of the MD-PACE Program will introduce the program and the Mid-Atlantic Director of Business Development for one of the largest C-PACE capital providers, Greenworks Lending, will discuss some the Maryland projects financed by his company.

Jessa Coleman, Senior Manager of Programs, PACE Financial Servicing

Jessa manages all of PFS’s design and administration contracts nationally. Jessa directly administers the closure and ongoing servicing of millions of dollars of C-PACE financing in the state of Maryland and has onboarded several new counties into the MD-PACE program since joining the firm in 2018. She also administers the Montgomery County C-PACE Program and supports the Virginia PACE Authority (VPA) in its administration of C-PACE programs in Northern Virginia as Business Development and Marketing Partner. In addition to C-PACE program administration, Jessa has supported program design efforts in states including Pennsylvania and New York. She secured contracts to design statewide C-PACE programs for the states of Alaska and Oklahoma. In the latter, Jessa shepherded the closure of the first two C-PACE pilot projects in the state, totaling $4.9 million. Jessa is a member of the Mid-Atlantic PACE Alliance and regularly speaks at regional and national conferences. Previously, Jessa consulted for social enterprises in Europe and Africa. Jessa received a Master’s in Management from HEC Paris, specializing in Sustainability and obtaining a certificate in Energy & Finance.
