On behalf of the LAI Baltimore Chapter, we invite you to the LAI Baltimore Annual Meeting.

The program will include:
A special induction ceremony for our 2019 Chapter members
Welcome of our incoming Baltimore Chapter President Matthew Kimball
Board of Directors Election

Tickets are $90 and include appetizers, full dinner, dessert, two drinks and house wine with dinner.

LAI Baltimore is honored to announce that our Annual Meeting Speaker will be Bob Perciasepe, President of the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions.

Perciasepe may be one of the few EPA administrators whose nomination drew praise from both the environmental and business communities. Bob Perciasepe is a former government official who currently serves as President of the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions. He served as the Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency during the administration of Barack Obama.

Prior to joining the Obama administration, Perciasepe was Chief Operating Officer for the environmental conservation non-profit National Audubon Society. Before that, he served in the administration of President Bill Clinton as the EPA’s Assistant Administrator for clean water and then later as the Assistant Administrator for clean air. Prior to that time he served as Maryland’s Secretary of the Environment after holding the positions of Chief of Capital Planning and Assistant Director for Planning for the city of Baltimore.

Perciasepe recently tweeted “We are at a defining moment where the climate challenge requires everyone to act NOW. American business leadership is essential and can help build momentum for action.” With this tweet he shared an open letter to the CEOs of corporate America, “It’s time to lead on climate policy” written by several environmental leaders and published as a full-page ad in the New York Times Business section on October 15th.

RSVP now to hear this esteemed speaker with Maryland and Baltimore roots share his views on a crucial issue impacting all on a local and global level.
